First of all, this video is hilarious (Rozay jumps off of a bridge). I also really like the first verse in this, from an era when Rick didn’t really know how to rap yet.

But here’s the thing I want to talk about: During R. Kelly’s bridge, he says “MONEY RAIN ON ME” (around 2:50 or so). But what I hear and have always heard is “BONNIE RAITT ON ME.” Which is a much more audacious claim. To me it’s like, R. Kelly was watching the Grammys as a kid, dirty shoes and Hilfiger, and all he wanted was for Bonnie Raitt to ride that d. Which if you think about it, he’d probably be into.
